Zlatan Ibrahimovic made his Major League Soccer debut this year and he did it in the fashion you’d think he would. His first goal (out of 22) this year was of course the goal that ended up being the AT&T Goal of the Year in the MLS.
It was a stunning long-range strike by Zlatan that leveled the match for the LA Galaxy against LAFC on March 31.
Coming off the bench to make his anticipated MLS debut, the iconic forward’s swerving volley from nearly 40 yards out sailed over LAFC goalkeeper Tyler Miller.
