This NFL Player’s High School Highlights Are Terrifying
We came across this highlight of a former NFL player’s high school highlights. And we were basically terrified for the opponent. So we did what we do here at SONT (Sports on Tap) we tried to find out who it was. And we found it it was former Arizona Cardinal and Florida State Seminole Darnell Dockett:
As you can see he was terrifying in high school:
And he was also huge in the NFL:
Dockett played 11 years for the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL and totaled 40.5 sacks:
Dockett was aboslutely terrifying as you can see in the video below:
Yikes, if I was a kid and he lined up against me, I’d just quit.
2 Hours After We Swear We Are Going On A Diet
We’ve all been there…
“I’m going on a diet.”
Don’t tell us you haven’t been here.
Whats harder than deciding to go on a diet?
Sticking to it.
Then the “fuck it” kicks in…
But really, he might be the cutest kid I’ve seen in years. He don’t give a damn.
Joel Embiid Might Be Taking Trash Talking Too Far With Rookies
Listen, I am all for trash talking, especially in the NBA. The NBA is a great place of drama, and being able to see that drama take place on the court more than any other sports.
Yet, I believe Joel Embiid is taking it too far.
Me, Sami Jarjour, @JarjourSami on Twitter – YouTube & Instagram tells you why:
Embiid has been going at rookies even, like Mo Bamba. People that haven’t even been in the NBA yet.
What happened to the good old days where rivalries and bad blood happened on the court FIRST, then became a real feud.
I want LeBron James and Kevin Durant to feud, after playing in multiple finals… I don’t need Embiid making “playful” sarcastic trash talking via social media.
It feels immature.
If you missed what Embiid and Bamba’s trash talking consists of, here it is:
Ken Griffey Jr. Narrates “Rewrite The Rules” MLB Postseason Commercial
The start to this MLB playoffs has been something special.
It all started with ties in two different NL Divisions. The NL West had a dead even tie between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies, while the NL Central had the same drama with the Chicago Cubs and the Milwaukee Brewers.
One game. Winner takes the division… loser to play in the ANOTHER one game, loser-goes-home situation.
Now if thats not the drama you want going into the postseason, you must not love baseball.
Get this, we have even more excitement. If the New York Yankees beat the Oakland Athletics in their one-game wildcard playoff matchup we get what we all want.
Boston Red Sox v. New York Yankees.
Please. This is what the baseball gods must bring us.
In honor of the postseason the MLB gifted us with this beautiful “Rewrite The Rules” commercial with narration from the one and only Ken Griffey Jr. Legend.
At least Griffey is wearing a Mariners hat… the most postseason action Seattle has seen in 18 years.

This really isn’t something you want to miss…
If anyone knows how to do this, please let us know… Would love to impress some people . with this ridiculous trick.
Public Service Announcement: Don’t try this at home!
The Seahawks Didn’t Do Earl Thomas “Dirty” Earl Thomas Did The Seahawks “Dirty”
We all know the story. Earl Thomas wanted a new contract; The Seahawks wouldn’t budge. Earl Thomas got hurt, carted off the field and as he was being carted off gave the Seahawks sideline the bird. He was pissed. He thought he deserved more money so on his way out of the door he decided to flip off his organization and teammates. Cool dude. Let’s flip off all your co-workers while they still have a game to finish. What a class act (hope you know sarcasm). You know who should really be upset? The Seattle Seahawks organization.
Earl Thomas was on the last year of a 4 year 40-million-dollar contract with the team. For those math whizzes at home that’s 10 million dollars a year. Now Earl is upset because he wanted a new contract extension. Well tough luck dude. Guess what Earl? You also are going to get paid while being hurt. Guess what else Earl? When you signed the contract, you were the highest paid safety in the league. And guess what else Earl? When your contract is up at the end of this season you are going to get paid again. Someone is going to pay Earl Thomas millions of dollars even after they saw him publicly give a big “FUCK YOU” to an employer who made him a multi-millionaire and set him up to have generational money so his kids (in theory) would never have to work. Come on. Why must we take the side of the player always in any type of situation where these things happen. Maybe we should take the organization’s side this time. The organization did not want to give a pay raise to a guy who in plain site of camera’s went up to Jason Garrett of the Cowboys and told him “come get me”. He basically said he doesn’t want to be a Seahawk.
Let’s take Earl’s situation and pretend he was a sales manager for a company. Let’s say he was making 100k a year. And he had committed to a contract where he was to work for the company for 4 years. And with one year left his bosses caught him talking to a rival company saying he wants to join. And then he decided he would not attend any meetings until he got a raise (Earl stopped practicing). What would happen? How fast would he have been fired? Let’s ad some fuel to this too. How about when his bosses ask him “hey man you can’t just not show up to meetings?” he decided to quit, flip off the WHOLE OFFICE. Which side would you be on? The only difference in this situation is Earl didn’t choose to quit, rather, he got injured. And the second difference is the sales manager would not have gotten paid. Earl is going to receive all of his 10 million dollars contract this year. So really who should be pissed? Earl Thomas didn’t get screwed or “done dirty” by his team. He did them dirty and he did himself dirty. If Earl didn’t go approach the Cowboys last season, if Earl showed up to camp, if Earl practiced, if Earl didn’t continue to say stupid shit to the media all season; maybe the Seahawks would be more willing to negotiate. But this is the world where we live in. Where entitlement is so rampant, that we forget how things really should work. I see the media continue to defend Le’Veon Bell for holding out, and that’s fine. Le’Veon Bell has cost himself $900,000 a week for missing games. That’s a choice he has made. He also made a choice to return this season after the bye week because, he knows $900,000 a week is A LOT of money.
Earl Thomas’s injury is unfortunate. You never want to see a player get hurt. But just because he was unhappy with his contract situation doesn’t mean you have to act classless. Have some class, have some perspective. This organization has made you rich. REALLY RICH. This organization has made you a household name. You had a city in Seattle that loved you. So instead of saying thanks you just gave the whole city the bird. Earl said, “fuck you Seattle”. And that’s just unfortunate. Fans bought Earl Thomas jersey’s, fans called sports radio shows to defend Earl. They vouched to go pay the man! Instead of having a little bit of perspective and a little bit of class. Earl basically just told everyone to “kiss his ass”. A sad ending to one of the best players in franchise history. That’s why I have been and always will be a firm believer of two things when it comes to sports and being a fan of sports. One of those is I will always be a fan of the name on the front of the jersey because it represents a city and a fan base. And the second thing following the first belief is a I will not purchase or wear a jersey of a player. Just can’t do it. And Earl Thomas is just one example of why.

This High School Coach Really Hit The Splits
Talk about being hyped.
The Bloomington North High School Football coach is a obviously a guy that would take to any measures to get hyphy with his team.
A week ago, Cougars Football (@BHSNFotball on IG), posted a video of their coach celebrating in full force with them in the locker room, for what we assuming was after a big win.
Coach was ready to get back to his youth. He wanted to be one of the cool kids.
On this day, he was the cool kid again, and the team absolute went nuts.
I don’t care if you’re young OR old… The splits ain’t easy to do… Ouch.
All that matters is that the team is happy, and hopefully this hype leads to more and more victories.
This Guy Looks Fat But Is Athletic Enough To Dunk A Basketball
We’ve seen some inspirational and cool videos but this overweight guy is definitely defying the odds with his athleticism.
He seems to love the fact that here are “haters” and “doubters” but guy can literally get up.
As he even refers to it shout to the “bellyfam”
Patrick Mahomes Is The New Quarterback GOD
Well, Showtime Mahomes is really making his impact in the NFL.
The 2nd year QB for the Kansas City Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes, is taking the league by storm. He broke the record for most touchdowns in 3 games (13) for any quarterback, ever.
On top of that, he went into Denver and beat the Broncos on the road after trailing by 10 in the 4th quarter to take KC to 4-0 on the year.
The Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams are the only teams left with an undefeated record.
It’s hard to not love a man who is making plays like this…
Yes a left handed throw… Yes he is right handed.
Me, Sami Jarjour, @JarjourSami on Twitter – YouTube & Instagram telling you why Patrick Mahomes is the best QB prospect (let’s not take that out of context), that I’ve seen through 4 games in my lifetime.
This man makes plays like this… and it’s hard to dispute his arrival of greatness. Let’s also give Andy Reid some props.
Dodgers Pitcher Walker Buehler Drops Swear Word Oni Mic
The Dodgers clinched the NL West in their one game playoff against the Colorado Rockies by winning 5-2. Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler started the game going 6 and 2/3 innings giving up 1 hit and getting the one. Then he dropped a NSFW word while addressing the crowd after the game.
I mean you can’t blame the guy, we’d say much worse if we had just clinched any time of championship.
This Is The Best Ultimate Frisbee Throw Of All Time
We’ve seen some crazy highlights from Football, Basketball, Baseball and other sports. But we aren’t usually ones to post ultimate frisbee highlights. But this one was just way too good to pass up.
As you can see the thrower was in a position where it was going to be difficult. But he literally put in the best and only spot you can put it in to the pass catcher.
What a play! Here’s the full play here:
This Fight Between Coaches At Pee Football Game Is Ridiculous
?Every sports fan cares about their team, just like every parent is passionate about their kid and their kid’s team. When the two worlds mix up, it can get people fired up. This was the case in Wise County, Virginia, as several football coaches came to blows after a pee-wee football game. Yes, you read that right: grown men started punching each other after a game played by 8-to-10-year-olds.
I mean these guys do look like they’d fight at a Pee Wee Football Game:
I mean it’s ridiculous to even fight. To fight at a pee-wee game? Even worse. Check out the video:
Honestly this needs to stop. Just a public service announcement, you are embarrassing yourself, and your kid.
This Throw In Pregame Shows How Ridiculous Patrick Mahomes Arm Is
Patrick Mahomes has taken the internet by storm. Literally, through 4 weeks of the NFL season the Kansas City Chiefs are now 4-0 and Patrick Mahomes has been absolutely on fire. And today he made some ridiculous plays:
Like his left handed throw (he’s right handed) for a first down.
Or this 80 yard throws in pregame
And this 65 yard “warm up” throw:
The guy is just unreal. Patrick Mahomes is the actual Uncle Rio from Napoleon dynamite:
So far Mahomes has been the story of the NFL season.
Yasiel Puig Gives Hilarious Interview After Division Clinching Game
Puig is just being Puig.
This was as exciting as it gets in baseball. We had two teams tied in two different divisions, with no games left to play.
Before even getting to the 1-game wildcard, we got a 1-game series in the NL West and the NL Central.
After today the Los Angeles Dodgers are the National League (NL) West champions after a 5-2 win over the Colorado Rockies on Monday.
The Rockies went into the 9th inning down 5-0 and hit back-to-back HRs, but still fell short. This gave the Dodgers the NL West title for the sixth straight season.
Colorado will travel to face the Chicago Cubs, who lost the NL Central tiebreaker to the Milwaukee Brewers, in the single-elimination National League wildcard game on Tuesday.
The Los Angeles Dodgers now will take on the Atlanta Braves in the National League Division Series (NLDS).
Puig gave the best interview so far today… Maybe he was drinking a bit!
He also gave the reporter a nice beer shower at the end.
