TRUTH: Exercise is the most underutilized anti-depressant and the best anger management out there. 💯 You ever have one of those days where everything annoys you and you want to punch anyone that gets too close? Is this salt water or fresh? 🤔 I’ll give you a hint.. today’s diet tip of the day: SALT CRAVINGS: If your cravings fit into the salty/savory category salt deficiency may be the cause! Sodium gets a bad rap, but being deficient in sodium can be problematic too. Especially if you’re dieting or eating clean, it’s easier than you think to run into issues caused from salt deficiency. Here are some things to look out for: -Cravings for salty/savory foods . -Even cravings for foods that don’t taste salty but still contain a lot of sodium like cookies, bread, crackers and restaurant food . -Inexplicable fatigue, generally depressed mood, and low energy . -Muscle cramps or slow recovery after workouts . Try some of these to help combat sodium deficiency: . -Salt your food with Sea Salt or Himalayan Salt . -Add some healthy sources of salts to your diet, like olives . -After intense exercise or sweating, try rehydrating with a mixture of water and sea salt . . Vacay workout, then straight to the boat! 👙 🚣‍♀️ 😎 🌴 🍸 We all indulge while on vacay, you’ve got to! But here are a few ways I still keep it in check so I don’t come home 20 lbs heavier 😜 . -pack my supplements and take them daily, especially my probiotics and @omaxhealth Omegas . -pack my @undergroundprep meal prep then allow myself to indulge one meal per day then eat clean at the rest . -find a local gym and workout at least every other day . -get in lots of swimming and walking on the beach . -stay hydrated! You just have to be smart about it. Here are some tips when it comes to drinking 🍸 🍷 🍹 that will help prevent losing progress on your fitness mission: -When it comes to alcohol type try to stick to something lower in sugar content, like Tequila, Gin or Vodka. . -Avoid sugary mixers. Opt for club soda with maybe a splash of juice. . -Drink a glass of water before you go to the event, and in between each alcoholic beverage. This keeps you hydrated and helps avoid over consumption of food or alchohol. Alcohol stimulates your appetite, causing you to be more likely to eat larger portions so keep it under control. . -Once home down 12 Oz of water mixed with an electrolyte complex to replenish. . .
