Even until today, Babe Ruth is recognized is the greatest baseball player to ever live. He changed the game in ways that are still of impact today.

Joe DiMaggio put up Godly numbers in only 13 seasons. Why only 13? Well, he had to go serve in World War 2. So his career was interrupted.

But during those 13 years his numbers were amazing. He is most remembered for his 56 game hitting streak which still stands today as the longest hitting streak in Major League History. And also remembered for being married to Marilyn Monroe.

During those 13 seasons; DiMaggio made 13 All-Star games, and won Three MVP awards. He produced a lifetime .325/.398/.527 batting line, hitting 361 homers and 389 doubles. Dimaggio was incredibly difficult to strike out, whiffing only 369 times in his career.

He was a 20 time All-Star and a Three Time MVP. In 1956, he won The Triple Crown. And he was magnificent in the field and as a batter.

Mantle was thought of as one of the top all around talents in the game during his prime. Overall, the Yankees star produced a .298/.421/.557 batting line, hitting 536 homers and 344 doubles. Derek Jeter edged out the likes of other great Yankee players like Marino Rivera, Yogi Berra and Lou Gehrig. You can argue that The Yankees deserve two Mount Rushmores.

Jeter won 5 World Series Championships with The Yankees and was known as one of the most clutch players in history of baseball because of all the heroics he produced in the playoffs.

Jeter had over 3000 hits in his career, won Rookie of The Year, was a 14 time All-Star, 5 times Gold Glove winner, 5 time Silver Slugger winner and has a World Series MVP.
