The Jets Firing Their GM In The Middle Of May Is A The Most Typical Jets Move Ever

It’s May. So The New York Jets decided it was time to fire their GM. There’s no problem in firing Mike Maccagnan but the timing is absolutely weird. Free agency is over, a new head coach has been hired, and the draft is over. So the team is already in tact. Reportedly there was friction between him and new head coach Adam Gase especially over the signing of Le’Veon Bell. The Jets went on twitter and annoucned the move as well:

Well, firing your GM in the middle of May is a very typical Jets move. And Adam Gase will take over as interim GM.
