Man if it wasn’t for injuries who knows what could have been. In only 4 seasons King made sure he made enough noise to make sure he was on the Mount Rushmore of Knicks. He was arguably the greatest scorer in franchise history and in 1985 he won the scoring title while averaging 32.9 points per game and shot 53 percent from the field.

Yeah, impressive. According to Basketball-Reference.com, King is joined by Kareem Abdul-JabbarWilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan as the only players in NBA history to average at least 32.0 points on 53.0 percent shooting or better.

He made it twice to the All-NBA First Team during his Knicks career, it cannot be overstated how aweomse Bernard King truly was.
