Talk about style. Walt “Clyde” Frazier until today still is all about style with his suits as he announces Knicks games.
Clyde knew how to dress, and Clyde knew how to play basketball. Frazier was the point guuard for New York’s only two championship teams, starring in 1970 and 1973.
He made the All-Defensive First Team seven times, was All-NBA another six and finished with seven All-Star Game appearances to his name. In the 1970 NBA Finals game 7, Walt knew it was time to go all out to win the championship and he did where he racked up 36 points an 19 assists with bring The Garden and the New York Knicks their first ever NBA championship.
