It was not exactly a fun season for the Oakland Raiders during their last season in Oakland.
It was their new head coaches first year back with a 10 year, $100 million contract and the team only went 4-12.
One of the bright spots of the year is TE Jared Cook making it to the Pro Bowl after a great season, he gave high praise to Jon Gruden for the coaching that help him offensively the way it did.
Unfortunately for Jared Cook, things on his way to the Pro Bowl in Orlando didn’t go as he originally planned.
The Oakland Raiders tight end revealed to a reporter that on his way to Orlando for the Pro Bowl, TSA employees went through his bag at the airport and he found out later that some of his shoes and clothes worth a lot of money were taken from his bag by them.
Jared Cook kept a smile on his face without complaining too much, saying he “understand this happens during a government shutdown.”
Good for Cook for not making a scene, but this is just sad and unacceptable.
