Patriots Safety Patrick Chung Has Been Indicted On Cocaine Possession Charge

In the world of the New England Patriots, it is rare to have early season headlines, but this one is a little different… Patrick Chung has found himself in serious trouble after he was one of many people indicted on drug charges following a raid in New Hampshire back in June.

LACONIA — New England Patriots safety Patrick C. Chung is scheduled to be in Belknap Superior Court next Wednesday to be arraigned on a charge of cocaine possession. A Belknap County grand jury indicted Chung, 32, on the charge on Aug. 8.A highly placed law enforcement source confirmed the person indicted and the football player are the same person.

Patrick Chung has found himself in serious trouble after he was one of many people indicted on drug charges following a raid in New Hampshire back in June.

The raid resulted in nearly three dozen indictments and that includes the veteran safety and three-time Super Bowl champion.

It’s too soon to tell what that means for his future with the New England Patriots. The former second round pick is entering his 11th season with the team.
