Panthers Fans Were NOT Happy Seeing Eric Reid Kneel For The Anthem

In Case You Missed It:

Eric Reid, safety for the Carolina Panther, took a knee during the National Anthem, continuing what he did while a member of the San Fransisco 49ers.

Reid struggled to find a job in the NFL due to the kneeling protest, but the Panther signed the talented young safety before their Week 4 bye, and he decided to take a knee during the anthem…

Yet, no other player joined him.

Back in 2016 when Colin Kaepernick decided to kneel during the anthem, Reid became the first Niner to join him, and one of the first in the NFL to join Kapernick’s decision.

The demonstration was (and is) to protest police brutality and racial inequality/injustice. Yet, many fans took it, and still take it, as a disrespectful action to the national anthem and the military of the United State of America.

Reid, when signed, said he was still “undecided” on whether or not he would near. Today was his first game, and he did take a knee.

That decision seemed to upset some of the fans in Carolina Panthers fan base and they took to Twitter to voice their opinions on it:

What do you think?
