Le’Veon Not Expected To Report & Become Ineligible For The Year

What has been an interesting year for the Pittsburgh Steelers, starting off slow, it has been just as interesting with their star running back Le’Veon Bell who has held out the entire year.

The good news for the Steelers: James Conner has taking Bell’s stop at running back and dominated the year.

The bad news: Le’Veon Bell is not expected to return despite the news we got yesterday (Friday) from Steelers President Art Rooney:

Art Rooney II is reading between the upside-down tweets.

The Steelers president said Thursday on Sirius XM Radio that he expects running back Le’Veon Bell to report to the team this week.

“I don’t know what his plans are, but I would say that at this point we expect him to come back next week,” Rooney said. “We know he’s back in Pittsburgh, so we’re hoping to have some communications with him over the weekend. We’re kind of expecting he’ll be back next week.”

1 day later, reports show that Bell will not show up on Tuesday, and if he doesn’t, his season will be officially over.
