LeBron James Passes Michael Jordan On NBA’s All-Time Scoring List (VIDEO)

LeBron James always says that the first time he met Michael Jordan, it was like “meeting a God.” Thats all you need to know about how much Jordan inspired LeBron. Today, as a Los Angeles Laker in his 16th season, he passed Jordan to be 4th on the NBA all-time scoring list.

Entering the game trailing Jordan by 12 points, James tied Jordan at 32,292 career points with a fadeaway 19-footer midway through the second quarter and then passed him with an and-1 layup at the 5:38 mark.

Before the game, we even got a look at LeBron’s shoes that were inspired by Kobe Bryant (3rd all-time on the list) and Air Jordan 3s.

Here is a few shots from the moment it all happened.

LeBron James was visibly emotional after this big moment in his career:

LeBron still trails Kobe Bryant (3rd), Karl Malone (2nd) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1st),  all four players on the list have played for the Lakers now.
