As we all know, Kyler Murray has entered the NFL Draft, deciding to put the MLB on the side for now even though he was drafted 9th overall by the Oakland Athletics last draft.
While Kyler Murray helped Oklahoma stay relevant the year after losing Heisman QB Baker Mayfield to the draft, he hasn’t convinced all sports writers that means he is a legit prospect. Kyler filled Mayfield’s void by doing the same thing Mayfield did, winning the Heisman and going to the College Football Playoff..
Yet, he still has his doubters due to both his 5’8 stature and his throwing ability.
Matt Hayes took to Twitter and threw a shot at Murray’s passing ability ad suggested that it was Lincoln Riley that made him look good and not by his own doing.
Let’s not forget: Kyler Murray didn’t remotely resemble a thrower when he arrived at OU. The difference is @LincolnRiley

He didn’t go from looking lost at Texas A&M to a potential No.1 pick because he’s an elite talent. He got there because of Riley — learning concepts and defenses and how to be a complete thrower.
That’s not breaking news.
