Justin Herbert, Shockingly, Returns For Senior Year As Oregon Ducks QB

The Oregon Ducks are catching a great break. Their star quarterback Justin Herbert will return to Eugene for his senior year. This is shocking that he is bypassing the NFL.

“We couldn’t be more excited for Justin to return for his senior season. He is a special talent on the field, but, more importantly, a special person and leader off the field,” coach Mario Cristobal said in a statement.
Mel Kiper of ESPN had Herbert ranked as the No. 6 overall player among all draft projects, while Todd McShay, also of ESPN, had him at No. 20 of the top 32 prospects.

The 6-foot-6, 233-pound Herbert completed 59.6 percent of his passes this season, throwing for 2,985 yards with 28 touchdowns and 8 interceptions while leading Oregon to an 8-4 record

This leaves the 2019 NFL draft class of QBs extremely slim, so we shall see what teams in need of a QB are going to be doing in the upcoming draft.
