Ezekiel Elliot has been sitting out the whole pre-season for The Dallas Cowboys as he is looking for a new contract with two years left on his current deal. It was rumored The Cowboys offered him the 2nd largest running back contract in history of the NFL and it seems like that might be enough as Jerry Jones gave some update on the situation today saying:
“I’m operating as though right now he’s going to miss regular season games,”

The Cowboys will be missing Ezekiel Elliot, it’ll be interesting to see how The Cowboys start and whether or not this hold out will result in wins or losses for The Cowboys. If they win, don’t expect the team to budge. But a slow start could force The Cowboys hand to go and make a new offer to the star running back.
