Fan favorite from TNT, Charles Barkley, keepings on giving content day in and day out. He did it again today when he got on ESPN’s morning talk show ‘Get Up’ and claimed that Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving is “one of the most miserable people I’ve ever seen.”
One issue a lot of fans, and even Charles Barkley have, is sympathy towards someone who makes millions of dollars a year to play the sport of basketball, and complains about it. Recently, Kyrie Irving talked about not being a fan of the lifestyle.
“I didn’t really come into this game to be cameras in my face, be famous, be a celebrity, whatever embodies that,” Irving said Monday, per Tom Westerholm of MassLive.com. “It’s a little hard for me. I wanted those things when I was younger, but now…I just want to play basketball at a very high level.”
Barkley isn’t buying these excuses:
“He’s got to be one of the most miserable people I’ve ever seen.”

We all know life hasn’t been as easy as Kyrie thought in the NBA since leaving LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers… His first year away, he hurt his knee again and missed the entire playoffs. Now in 2019, the Celtics were expected to compete with the Warriors for an NBA Championship, somehow instead they are the 5th seed in the East.
