The Bryce Harper free agency sweepstakes is one of the biggest we’ve had in recent memory. Any team in the MLB would take Bryce Harper.
After reportedly shutting down a $300 million contract from his Washington Nationals, it gave the rest of the MLB a slight hope of now signing him.
Over the weekend, the Los Angeles Dodgers shocked the baseball world when they sent Matt Kemp, Yasiel Puig and Alex Wood to the Reds in a move that could prompt a huge signing later on.
On social media, MLB’s Instagram account asked if the deal made Los Angeles the favorites to sign Harper this winter.
It should be noted that even before the huge trade with the Cincinnati Reds, the Los Angeles Dodgers were viewed as the heavy favorites to sign Bryce Harper.
The idea of playing in Los Angeles and getting all the perks that come with being a superstar athlete in Tinseltown might be appealing to the 26-year-old.
