Breaking: Robinson Cano Reportedly Suspended 80 Games for PED Usage

Seattle Mariners second baseman Robinson Cano will reportedly be suspended 80 games without pay for violating Major League Baseball’s joint drug agreement, according to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal.

It was later reported that the drugs were specifically Furosemide, a Diuretic.

The 35-year-old veteran is on the 10-day disabled list after suffering a broken bone in his right hand on a hit by pitch.

Hector Gomez of Z101 Digital was the first to report Tuesday that Cano had tested positive for steroid use.
