Mike Leach is an interesting if not most interesting character in college football. And on Saturday after Washington State’s 41-19 win over The University of Wyoming a question about the elevation in Wyoming transformed into a Mike Leach tangent about jackalopes.
“I sold a bunch of jackalopes to people to this day from back east that think there are spots out west where jackrabbits actually have horns.”
Gotta listen to the whole thing.

Here’s a picture of what the formation looked like:

How’d Mike Leach come up with this: Well here is the man himself on twitter explaining:
Been working with a Microsoft engineer and Coug grad who has some innovative ideas. Stay tuned. We call this one Big Gulp left, named after a friend of mine. https://t.co/jui2PvlYul

Stay tuned for more crazy plays from Mike Leach this season. If this was ‘Big Gulp’ we hope ‘slurpee’ is on the horizon and he can get the plays sponsored by 7-11.
