The NFL offseason has been a wild one, for the first time in a while there has been trades daily with superstars moving organizations. Dee Ford was the latest to fit that category. The Kansas City Chiefs have sent their dynamic pass rusher to the San Francisco 49ers.
Chiefs trading Dee Ford for a 2nd round pick to SF as @AlbertBreer reported. Surprised they got that much under the circumstances. KC has a ways to go with its roster on defense

Dee Ford has also landed an extension after the trade, a five-year deal, worth $87.5 million.
The 6-foot-2, 252-pound Ford specializes in rushing the quarterback in a 3-4 scheme and he totaled a career-high 13 sacks and forced a league-high seven forced fumbles in 2018 to earn a Pro Bowl selection. He entered the league in 2014 as a first-round pick with the Chiefs and has 30.5 sacks on his career.
