Alright so here is the plan that the MLB is proposing. A start no later than July 2nd. Games at teams home stadiums. But only playing against their new division opponents. No fans in the stands (at first) but hopefully later in the year, and an extended post-season. Please sign me up. It’s just one season of this, I can adjust. But any live sports right now would be a plus. Sure baseball would look different, but you have to admit a 100 game season that has way more urgency might just be the injection into baseball’s veins that we need. Sign me up. And a extended postseason… that just might mean the Mariners end their postseason drought.
