Does This Look Like A IG Model That Should Be Banned From Tinder?

Instagram Model

Have you ever been banned from dating apps because you are so good looking? Well, I personally hate when that happens. It’s the worst. I have ran out of dating apps I am allowed on because of my appearance. So I totally relate to this story:

(Source)–What a Valentine’s Day gift.

Getting jettisoned from hookup apps for sharing inappropriate content is the norm — but one Los Angeles Instagram model alleges that she’s been banned from Tinder because her good looks made potential matches think she was a fake.

Holly Valentine says her foray into the online dating world began when she signed up for Tinder so she could meet men while traveling for work, Jam Press reports.

“I bought the most expensive package that they offer that lets you set your location to anywhere,” says the purportedly “shy” 26-year-old model, who has 1.2 million followers on Instagram.

Man, tech companies are doing it again. Targeting the wrong people by using algorithms that should make sense but in reality make zero sense. This isn’t what I would I would call fair. This is biased and shouldn’t exist. She has 1.2 Million followers on Instagram and if she wants to “meet men while traveling” she she should be allowed to do as she pleases. Or maybe she has a side hustle… Who knows, whatever.

What is something about yourself that has shaped your life? I have never opened up about this publicly but I have fatal food allergies to peanuts, legumes (beans and lentils) and certain types of fish. Now that I’m older and know what kind of foods to look out for it’s not that big of a deal but it still has affected my life. One of the positive things has been that it has taught me how to be more calm in chaotic situations and not panic. It has also given me a lot of compassion for other people with chronic health issues. And finally it has also taught me that not all bodies are alike and not to impose my food and health beliefs on others because you never know how someone’s body is going to react to your routine. With all the fun summer holidays and barbecues coming up this is just a gentle reminder to be sensitive to the people around you and not be offended if people politely reject your homemade brownies or have to ask a waiter on your first date what kind of oil something is cooked in. Trust me…asking is better than the alternative ?
