Well this is odd… I am not sure how we should handle this situation, but Hue Jackson really doesn’t think the NFL should judge him based off his 3-36 record with the Cleveland Browns… Hue Jackson would like to get back into coaching, but hasn’t been overwhelmed with offers since being fired by the Browns.
“My coaching record over 32 years speaks for itself,” Jackson said, via Joe Reedy of the Associated Press. “I don’t think 2½ years at Cleveland should tarnish my whole career.”
Jackson led the Browns to being only the second team in NFL history to an 0-16 record in 2017 and a 3-36-1 overall record in two and half seasons in Cleveland.
Despite the poor record, Jackson said Wednesday in an interview with Charlotte, N.C. radio station WFNZ that he believes his time with the Cleveland Browns was the “best coaching I did” – via Daryl Ruiter of WKRK-92.3 The Fan.
"I think during those times [it was] probably some of the best coaching I did contrary to what people think." – former #Browns coach Hue Jackson to @NickWilsonWFNZ & @JoshParcell on our sister https://t.co/SZ1DsNQdTZ station @WFNZ in Charlotte, NC on his time in Cleveland.

He said he watched games last year and realized he wanted to be involved again, but he avoided watching Browns games. “That’s where the itch comes from. You miss the smell of the grass, the players, the camaraderie and all the process you went through,” he said. “When you look back there are a ton of things I would do different. For one I would have never gave up play-calling.”
