When the whistle blows and the games begin, the players and coaches are all business. Athletic achievement is made on the field and practice field. But sometimes, athletes come off the field or in post game press conferences and have some of the most outrageous and head scratching quotes. We went ahead and put together our favorite quotes that made us wonder what were these athletes thinking?! These are the funniest, weirdest and most ridiculous quotes in sports.
“Fade into Bolivian I guess”
Mike Tyson wanted to do this to his opponents. He wanted to hit them so hard that they would fade into Bolivian. Too bad it’s fade into oblivion. And Bolivia is a country.
Tyson was known to say some pretty ridiculous and funny things. He said this gem of a quote when asked what he would do when he retired. And i guess technically Bolivia is a nice country with good weather so fading there wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. This is just one of many ridiculous quotes we have from athletes. Some are funny, some make no sense and some are just absolutely absurd. So enjoy the list because some of these are just LOL funny.
“Nobody in football should be called a genius. A Genius is a guy like Norman Einstein.”
I know names are hard to memorize but man come on Joe. I feel like Albert Einstein is possibly a top 10 most famous person ever so you probably should get his name right. It’s literally not that hard.
Unfortunately, for Joe he’s no genius. A hell of a quarterback? Yes. But a genius, no. This would be a little bit less embarrassing if at least with a name with the same letter. But from Albert to Norman. Man, that’s bad.
