Florida starting quarterback Feleipe Franks suffered what looks to be a serious injury in the third quarter against Kentucky. The medical staff carted Franks off the field with Kyle Trask seemingly set to take over. The injury isn’t for the faint of heart and as you can see ESPN camera immediately panned away.

“He dislocated his ankle,” said color commentator and former quarterback Brian Griese. “We’ve seen that before with other players. It’s such a painful situation for Felipe Franks, but it looks like his season is over.”
The whole team came to the support of Franks as he was loaded on to the cart:

Prayers to Franks. Whether or not your a fan of the Gators or rooting for Kentucky under no circumstance do you ever want to see a player get carted off the field after a gruesome injury. I am sure the extent of the injury will end his season. But we do want to say man, that’s just brutal.
