Andre Iguodala is coming off his fifth straight NBA Finals appearance with the Golden State Warriors, winning 3/5 and as we all know, losing this year to the Toronto Raptors. Instead of taking time off and getting his rest, Iguodala has been traveling around to different media outlets to promote his brand new book The Sixth Man. His interview with Charlamagne tha God on the Breakfast Club ended up reveiling a lot about the Warriors, and some interesting thoughts that Iduodala has on different NBA topics.
The most surprising of them all to me was about his former coach, Mark Jackson, who got fired in 2014. Following Jackson’s fire, the Warriors won the title the next season and went to five straight NBA Finals. Yet, I am one of the believers that the Warriors were just one year away and would win a championship which him coaching as well. Andre Iguodala didn’t go that far, but he does wonder why Mark Jackson hasn’t gotten a job yet:
So basically Mark Jackson was blackballed for being religious… Idc what anyone says, Warriors win the EXACT amount of rings under him as they have under Kerr. He made this model. pic.twitter.com/ROQfpenhdf

Iguodala believes its a blackball due to religious reasons, yet, he claims it didn’t effect the team and it was not right. There has been speculation for the past few years on why Jackson couldn’t find a new job, and here is the newest speculation.
Iguodala gave some more of his thoughts on why the Warriors out-priced their fans in Oakland, and how Kevin Durant’s injury wasn’t the first time the Warriors lied. The entire interview is below as well:
