Last week we had rumors that Kyrie Irving to Brooklyn was basically a done deal and he was confirmed going to The Brooklyn Nets. But now with Anthony Davis going to the Los Angeles Lakers rumors are swirling that Kyrie Irving has a lot of interest in playing with Anthony Davis and could be considering The Lakers:
Source: A day after the Los Angeles Lakers finally landed Anthony Davis, a LeBron James-Kyrie Irving reunion is reportedly likelier than ever.
Sam Amick and David Aldridge of The Athletic reported Irving remains in play for the Lakers as they look to find a third star to pair with James and Davis.
The Aldridge report noted that Irving has wanted to play with Davis for “months,” which could give the Lakers a chance to land the All-Star point guard.
The possibility of Kyrie on the Lakers with AD and LeBron is now very much on the table. Now, this is all going to come down to what The Pelicans do about the 7/30 deadline. Without it and if Davis does not waive the 4 Million trade kicker the Lakers would only have about 23 million to spend on a free agent, but if he waives it they will
the possibility of him going to the Lakers is very much on the table. Now financially it of course will all come down to whatever the Pelicans do about this 7/30 deadline. Without it and with Davis not waiving his $4M trade kicker the Lakers are only going to have around $23M to spend on a free agent, and then $27M if he does waive it.
Would LeBron, Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving be a guaranteed championship?
