You have to take most rumors with a grain of salt but it seems like that this one has huge merits. According to reports Kyler Murray the quarterback from Oklahoma and Heisman Trophy winner going number is a “done deal”. According to NBC Sports:
“Adding fuel to the (Kyler) Murray fire, Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury was telling people last night that it’s a ‘done deal’ the Cardinals will select the Oklahoma Sooners quarterback with the first pick of the draft,”
However, it’s not only the Arizona Cardinals who are interested in the dynamic QB. According to reports The Oakland Raiders and Jon Gruden are enamored with the young QB and would do a ton to try to move up to the #1 spot to select him.
"Someone in Indianapolis told me Jon Gruden is the worst poker player in the NFL. He and Mike Mayock can talk all they want about Derek Carr … but I'll tell you Jon Gruden is very interested in Kyler Murray." – Peter King on @dpshow

The Raiders have a ton of capital to work with by trading Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper last season the Raiders have 5 picks in the first two rounds of the NFL draft. It’s going to be interesting to see if the Cardinals are willing to make a deal or they are hell bent on getting Kyler Murray and departing with QB Josh Rosen.
