It seems every year that are a couple of strange stories that come out of the NFL combine. Here we go in 2019, this is just another head scratcher. According to NFL.com’s Chase Goodbread the Seattle Seahawks had Kentucky Wildcats CB Lonnie Johnson compete in a staring contest with an unnamed opponent.
CB Lonnie Johnson of Kentucky said the #Seahawks put him in a staring contest lasting "15, 16 seconds" during his formal interview with them. Said he won. Couldn't recall the name of who he went against.#NFLCombine

The modern NFL guys. This does seem like something Pete Carroll would do, with his team mantra being “always compete”.
Lonnie Johnson reps 225 pounds 15 times, one of the best performances from a cornerback. He weighs 213 pounds.

In 13 games with the Wildcats last season, Johnson tallied 23 tackles, one interception, and four pass breakups. He has tremendous size for the corner position standing at 6-foot-2 and 213 pounds.
