The sneaker world keeps getting bigger and bigger as time goes. Especially in a world where idolize pro athletes and hip-hop artists fashion. These two worlds often collide and the sneakerhead world is another place that always happens.
Sami Jarjour (Twitter – Instagram @JarjourSami) weekly will break down his favorite sneaker releases. These aren’t always going to be the ‘best’ sneakers coming, sometimes unique sneakers or sneakers with a story will surpass some of the classic.
@SONTKicks presents this week’s ‘Sneaker Stuff That Matters’:
adidas N3XT L3V3L Core Black
February 23rd 2019 - $180.00
There are two simple reasons to love this new adidas. The shoelace-less trend, it’s a big right now, and quite frankly it looks pretty good. Secondly, love the paint like design on the bottom, unique but not too flashy all over the entire shoe. Lastly, if you are an adidas lover, you can appreciate the three large stripes to show off your adidas’.
Nike Air More Money Have A Nike Day
March 1st 2019 - $160.00
Must I say much? “Have A Nice Day” on the back, smiley face on the tongue, and “Air Money.” These are just unique and simply great.
Adidas Crazy 98 BYW Silver Metallic
February 23rd 2019 - $160.00
The adidas Crazy 98 BYW is inspired by the natural movement of the ’90s-era FYW concept. While they aren’t the best looking shoe in the world, they have a unique throwback look which is in style right now. Throw these one and you’ll be feeling like Allen Iverson in late 90s.
Nike Zoom Fly SP Barely Grape Blue Fury
March 1st 2019 - $150.00
Throwback and new-school are two main themes from this list. A lot of “futuristic” looks and a lot of “throwbacks.” These Nikes have a little bit of both. Some of the shaping and main color schemes on the outer side look like some classic Nikes. On the inner side of the shoe you get more futuristic and colorful looks.
Adidas Yung-1 Blue Pink
March 1st 2019 - $120.00
This colorway of the retro-inspired model comes dressed in a Crystal White, Clear Orange, and Collegiate Royal color scheme. This strikes me as the classic “dad shoe” that we’ve seen recently. Not for me, but interestingly enough, this is a trend.
Thats all for this week… What is your favorite kicks this week?
