I am happy for Eric Reid getting a job, I wish no man to have to go jobless. I think it was a good PR move for the Carolina Panther as well.
The only thing that I found really interesting is no one talking about how this proved that Eric Reid AND Colin Kaepernick suing the NFL is nonsense. There is no collusion, if you’re game is bigger and better than the distraction you bring, you will be signed.
Kudos to Eric Reid and the Carolina Panthers for coming to terms! ??.. But what about grievance and collusion? This is a tricky case now… pic.twitter.com/3cwGkbDGEa

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported the Panthers “kept the discussions to football” and did not talk about a potential protest during the national anthem.
Shockingly, he will still sue the NFL.
My understanding is that Eric Reid’s place in the collusion lawsuit against the NFL remains unchanged, despite his signing with the #Panthers.

Reid spent the first five seasons of his career with the San Francisco 49ers, who selected him in the first round of the 2013 draft. He’s tallied 318 combined tackles, 34 passes defended and 10 interceptions across 70 games since arriving to the NFL from LSU. He earned a Pro Bowl selection his rookie year.
Eric Reid did not dismiss or settle collusion case as part of his deal with the Panthers https://t.co/Cz4EYPuPdc
